Jonathan Kipnis, PhD, order bystolic samples the Alan A. and Edith L. As an academic editor, he advises the journal on how to cover the field of neuroimmunology and helps guide the manuscript review process.

Kipnis also is a professor of neurology, of neuroscience and of neurosurgery, and the founding director of the Center for Brain Immunology and Glia at Washington University. His work focuses on the complex interactions between the immune system and the central nervous system. He aims to elucidate the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying these interactions to unravel the role such interactions play in neurodegenerative, neurodevelopmental and neuroinflammatory disorders, as well as normal physiology and healthy aging.
