Finished in retro Ruby Star Neo paint, the Style Edition models arrive with unique design details and extensive standard kit
Porsche has added a splash of pink to the 718 Cayman and Boxster lineups, with new Style Edition models painted in the iconic Ruby Star Neo shade.
Alongside the exterior colour – which is usually reserved for Porsche’s paint-to-sample programme – the new spec includes extra onboard equipment and styling additions, with prices starting from £51,600 and £53,600 for the Cayman and Boxster respectively.

The Style Editions are based on the entry-level versions of the Boxster and Cayman, each powered by 2.0-litre turbocharged flat-four engines developing 296bhp and 380Nm of torque. With the standard six-speed manual gearbox, the Style Editions launch to 62mph from rest in 5.1 seconds, with the Cayman reaching 170mph flat out. The Boxster has a marginally higher 171mph top speed.
Made famous by the 964-generation 911 which was available in a similar hue, the Ruby Star Neo purple bodywork marks out the Style Editions, although customers can opt for a different exterior colour if they wish. Elsewhere, Porsche has fitted black exhaust tips, silver badging and 20-inch wheels from the 718 Spyder.
A Boxster badge has been embossed into the folding fabric top of the convertible member of the 718 duo, and a no-cost styling package can be specified to add decals to the bonnet and doors. This option also includes either black or white finishes for the wheels and badges.
The changes inside the Style Editions are less extensive, with the cabin trimmed in black leather and contrasting grey stitching. Porsche crests have been pressed into the headrests, and there are illuminated stainless steel kick plates on the sills.
A comprehensive kit list is included with the Style Edition, comprising a rear view camera, front and rear parking assist, Apple CarPlay and cruise control. A heated steering wheel and heated seats are also included, along with Porsche’s speed-sensitive Power Steering Plus system.
