The name CX-30 sounds a lot like CX-3, so you’re not alone if you’re confused. It competes against a growing group of subcompact SUVs including the new Kia Seltos and Chevrolet’s revived Trailblazer.
If you like the redesigned Mazda3 compact sedan and hatchback, then you’re going to like the CX-30, as the two vehicles share a platform. The CX-30 has good power, lots of safety tech and — like many Mazdas — is fun to drive.
