2019-2020 Toyota RAV4, RAV4 Hybrid: Recall Alert
Vehicles Affected: Approximately 9,500 model-year 2019-20 Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 Hybrid SUVs
The Problem: The front lower suspension arms may have been manufactured with improperly produced material, which can lead to eventual separation from the wheels, resulting in a loss of vehicle control and increasing the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace both front lower suspension arms with new ones for free.
What Owners Should Do: Toyota will begin notifying owners by mid-July. Owners can call Toyota at 800-331-4331, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle-safety hotline at 888-327-4236 or visit its website to check their vehicle identification number and learn more.
