Third-gen Mercedes-Benz GLS listed on Indian website

The third-generation Mercedes-Benz GLS has been listed on the carmaker’s Indian website. The car is expected to be launched in the coming months.

The SUV measures 5,207 mm long, 1,956 mm wide and has a wheelbase of 3,135 mm. The updated GLS gets new LED headlights and tail lights, twin-slat grille and a redesigned front bumper.

On the inside, the new GLS gets a 12.3-inch MBUX touchscreen infotainment system. Rear occupants can get optional 11.6-inch touchscreen units while a 7-inch tablet is provided in the middle row armrest to control the infotainment system. The SUV can be configured with 6 or 7 seat options. A five-zone automatic climate control is also offered.

In the international market, the GLS is available with two petrol engines with a 48V mild hybrid system – a V8 and a 6-cylinder engine. It also comes with a 6-cylinder diesel engine in two states of tune.
