Rumour: Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS Diesel temporarily discontinued
Some say, diesel variants of the car may not get allotted before 2023.
According to dealer sources, Hyundai has temporarily discontinued the Grand i10 NIOS Diesel.
The diesel variants of the Grand i10 NIOS are still listed on Hyundai’s official website. However, it is said that these variants are not getting allotted for the last three months.
Rumours also suggest that Hyundai is likely to start dispatching the Grand i10 NIOS diesel later in the year. Another dealer source we spoke to said that the diesel variants of the car may not get allotted before 2023.
The Grand i10 NIOS was launched in August 2019. The hatchback comes with a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 82 BHP and 114 Nm and a 1.2-litre diesel that puts out 74 BHP and 190 Nm. The car also gets a factory-fitted CNG option.
