2023 Honda City facelift
The 2023 Honda City facelift has been spotted at a dealer yard ahead of its official launch. The new City is expected to be offered in four variants: SV, V, VX and ZX.
The 2023 Honda City will be available with an RDE-compliant 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, while the 1.5-litre diesel engine will be discontinued. On the other hand, the City e:HEV will be offered with the same 1.5-litre petrol-hybrid powertrain mated to an e-CVT.
New-gen Hyundai Verna
Hyundai is gearing up to launch the next-gen Verna on March 21, 2023. Production has already kicked off and according to a recent report, deliveries are expected to begin around mid-April.
Bookings for the new Verna began on February 13, 2023. The car will be available in four variants: EX, S, SX and SX (O).
2023 Hyundai Alcazar 1.5L T-GDi
The Hyundai Alcazar will soon be available with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. The SUV can be booked by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000.
The Alcazar 1.5 Turbo GDi comes with two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The engine produces 158 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 253 Nm @ 1,500-3,500 rpm.
Mahindra Classic mid-spec ‘S5’ trim
The Scorpio Classic was introduced following the launch of the Scorpio-N. At launch, the SUV was offered in two trims: S and S11. It is now expected to get a new mid-spec ‘S5’ trim. That being said, the Scorpio Classic range will include a total of seven variants offered in 7-seater or 9-seater configurations.
Under the bonnet, the 2023 Scorpio Classic will carry forward the same 2.2-litre diesel engine updated to comply with the RDE norms. In its current configuration, the engine develops 130 BHP and 300 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
5th-gen Lexus RX
Lexus showcased the fifth-generation RX SUV at the Auto Expo 2023. The carmaker also announced the start of bookings with deliveries said to begin in April.
In India, the Lexus RX will be available in two variants – 350h and 500h F Sport. The former comes with a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid that makes 247 BHP, while the top-spec 500h F Sport uses a 2.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 361 BHP and 460 Nm.
Toyota Innova Crysta
The MPV has been updated for the 2023 model year and will be positioned below the Innova Hycross.
The 2023 Innova Crysta is available in four variants: ZX, VX, GX and G in 7-seater or 8-seater configurations. Customers can place their orders for the updated model by paying a token amount of Rs. 50,000 online or at their nearest Toyota dealership.
The 2023 Innova Crysta is available with a 2.4-litre diesel engine, which comes with ‘Eco’ and ‘Power’ drive modes. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
