MG Hector facelift leaked; to be launched this festive season

The updated Hector will come with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

According to a media report, MG will launch the Hector facelift in India by Diwali.

The updated Hector is expected to get a redesigned front grille and tweaked headlamps and tail lights. The SUV is also likely to get minor interior updates, including a larger touchscreen infotainment system and a new instrument cluster.

The biggest update though will be the addition of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It was first introduced on the Astor and comes with features like Lane Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning.

The MG Hector facelift will be offered with the same set of engines as the current car. These include a 168 BHP 2.0-litre diesel, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm and a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid.
