Lamborghini Owner Gives Car Thief Kid a Ride to Remember
“In times like these” says every commercial now, but seriously, in times like these, we need some good news. On Monday, 5-year-old Adrian Zamarripa, after a fight with his parents, took their car and pointed it toward California aiming to buy a Lamborghini. He was stopped by police a few (glorious) miles later.
“I saw that the truck was gone, and he was gone, and the keys were gone. I don’t know what went through his mind,” his sister said to KUTV News in Utah.
Now for the good news.
The story caught fire on the internet, which sometimes (rarely) can be a good thing. Offers started pouring in for him to sit in and ride in a real Lamborghini. An owner even met up with the family to take some pictures and give him a ride. The family has received other offers, as well.
Additionally, KUTV , the news station that covered the story, is also getting calls inquiring about how to hook this little hero up. So, there is some good in the world.
Too bad this kid is only 5. A little older and he could have received a driving school offer, an owner event invite or even a trip to Utah Motorsports Campus, formerly Miller Motorsports Park, just outside of Tooele, Utah for some fun on four wheels.
No matter: He’ll have this story to drop in conversation for the rest of his life.
