Go Deep in This 90-Minute Porsche Racing Doc

Real racing is postponed for 2020, but way back in 2019—seems so long ago—there was a 24 Hours of Le Mans and a 24 Hours of Nurburgring. Porsche documented the races for a new documentary about the sport called Endurance. It’s free now on YouTube and Amazon Prime.

British director James Routh, who also helmed the fantastic F1 series Drive to Survive, takes the reins here and follows the Porsche GT Team, technicians and drivers for 25 days. It starts with Le Mans prep and ends with the conclusion of the N24.

“In an exceptional way, the documentary Endurance showcases what endurance racing really involves: deprivation, stress, emotion and boundless dedication and passion of all involved,” says Porsche.

The driving scenes are augmented with interviews from Pascal Zurlinden, director of factory motorsport, and drivers Kévin Estre, Michael Christensen, Laurens Vanthoor and Matt Campbell.

Check it out above, or better yet on Amazon Prime on that big TV in your living room.
