BYD deliveries 340 Atto 3 electric SUVs in India

The Atto 3 was launched in November last year at a price of Rs. 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

BYD has announced that it has delivered the first batch of Atto 3 electric SUVs in India. The first lot, consisting of 340 units, was handed over to customers last month. 

The BYD Atto 3 is based on the brand’s e-Platform 3.0 and comes with a 60.48 kWh battery pack. It powers a front-mounted electric motor that makes 201 BHP and 310 Nm. BYD claims the Atto 3 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and a range of 521 km.

The Atto 3 was launched in November last year at a price of Rs. 33.99 lakh (ex-showroom). During the Auto Expo 2023, the Chinese EV maker introduced a special edition Atto 3 finished in a Forest Green exterior colour with black door handles and ORVMs.

On the inside, the Atto 3 features a rotating 12.8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It comes loaded with features such as a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, powered front seats and ADAS.
